Adult Learning

The Congregational, Educational, and Community Ministries Unit provides four kinds of funding for continuing education. These sections provide a brief description of each program.

Facilitated Learning Circles

For those in church leadership (lay or ordered). Facilitators are contracted by the General Council Office to organize groups of 10–12 church leaders, who gather monthly to learn together.

Individual Continuing Education Grants

Grants for individuals to help subsidize the costs associated with attending a continuing education event.

Learning-in-Community Grants

Grants to support group-based learning opportunities that meet regularly over a period of time.

Local Initiative Grants New!

Grants to help subsidize the cost of offering a continuing education event in a local region.
