United for Peace

You are invited to participate in the United for Peace Campaign, one expression of The United Church of Canada’s commitment to pursuing a just peace with dignity for all God’s people. Between November 4 (Peace Sabbath 2007) and December 2009:

• learn about the root causes of violence, and about the work of partners in Canada and around the world in peacebuilding to prevent conflict and support reconciliation
• act by calling the Canadian government to take actions that promote peace around the world, such as calling for a Federal Department of Peace
  
• give to support Canadian and global partners as they work for peace with justice for all people
