Education Resources

Committed to Justice, United for Peace [47 pp/435 KB]. Seven study sessions, which can be used alone or together, help us look at how we are called to build peace today. Explore biblical passages in light of ongoing conflict in Israel/Palestine, nuclear disarmament, small arms, and the "War on Terror" as they affect communities in Canada and around the world.

Two half-hour Spirit Connection episodes focus on peace issues in Israel/Palestine. United for Peace, broadcast on November 4, 2007, launched the campaign with interviews with peace workers and partners, and a look at the making of the olivewood peace pins.

Christmas in Bethlehem, broadcast on December 16, 2007, looks at life in this Palestinian town through the eyes of its residents. Both can be ordered from UCRD or borrowed from AVEL.
