If you are unable to answer your research question using our website and its links, you may wish to send us an inquiry. It is often best to contact the Archives in advance of making your first visit, so that we can

• advise you whether there may be records at the Archives relating to your inquiry
• explain how you can access the records you need
• refer you to another archives or institution that can help you, if we do not have records relating to your inquiry

Archives staff cannot conduct detailed searches for you. However, we can tell you whether we hold records that are relevant to your inquiry or advise you about possible alternative sources.

If your inquiry relates to family history research, please note that there are no surname indices listed on this website. Published surname indices are available through the Ontario Genealogical Society at its Places of Worship* page.
