The United Church of Canada/L'Église Unie du CanadaInformation Technology (IT) is one of those expansive terms that encompasses the many computer hardware and software programs used to create, store, exchange, and use digital information in its many forms, everything from scientific and statistical data, to digital photographs, videos, other multimedia products. The rapid development of information technology products is generally considered to be the driving force behind "the information revolution."
Information Technology and Web Services of the General Council Offices completed a survey of the technology being used in congregations in fall of 2007. Click here to view a summary of results from the online survey.
