The United Church's commitment to whole world ecumenism seeks the unity of the Christian community and respectful relationships with other faiths for the healing of the world.

Bearing Faithful Witness: Bearing Faithful Witness is an attempt to steer a new direction in United Church/Jewish relations. In August 2003, the 38th General Council approved the final report.
